These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Delightful Dwelling Design website and services. By accessing our site or engaging our renovation services, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Service Agreement

All renovation services are governed by a separate written contract detailing scope, timeline, pricing, materials, and warranty. In the event of conflict, the signed project contract takes precedence over any website content.

2. Estimates & Pricing

Free estimates are valid for 30 days from issue date. Final pricing is fixed in the executed contract. Change orders requested by the client may adjust scope and price with written acknowledgment from both parties.

3. Project Timeline

Project timelines are estimates based on best-known conditions. Unforeseen structural issues, weather events, permit delays, or material shortages may extend timelines. We commit to notifying clients of any schedule changes within 24 hours.

4. Payment Terms

• Deposit: 30% due at contract signing to secure schedule and order materials.
• Milestone Payments: Scheduled at defined project phases per contract.
• Final Payment: Due upon project completion and walkthrough sign-off.
• Late Payments: Invoices overdue by 14 days incur 1.5% monthly interest.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients must provide safe site access, clear work areas of personal belongings, and make timely decisions on selections to prevent delays. Pets must be secured during active construction hours.

6. Warranties

Workmanship warranties range from 5 to 10 years depending on package tier. Manufacturer warranties on materials are passed through to the client. Warranty does not cover damage from misuse, neglect, natural disasters, or unauthorized modifications.

7. Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellations within 3 business days of signing receive full deposit refund less hard costs incurred. Cancellations after work begins are subject to payment for completed work plus restocking fees on ordered materials.

8. Limitation of Liability

Delightful Dwelling Design's liability is limited to the contract value of the project. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from project execution or delays.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, USA. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Fairfield County, Connecticut.
